Default Stook goes in the shop this morning.

Pasadena is replacing the clutch because of clutch rattle for free -- 4,000 miles out of warranty -- because I first brought it to my service advisor's attention just before the warranty expired and he called no problem. Then it got worse.

The difference is night and day. At least it was on mine.

Ran into FSures at Pasadena Honda just now. His black S went in for service just ahead of my black S. I haven't seen him since our big Mingster Chinese dinner Saturday night.

Can you be more specific about the difference.

Well....the humming that is there with the clutch is just gone. Now when I'm decelerating, there is no embarrassing hum. You'll love it George.

Luke-

My clutch doesn't hum, it rattles -- also embarassing and getting worse. I gather the two things stem from the same cause.

Rattle....hum...same difference. I think we are talking about the same thing and using different words to decribe it. Your actually correct. It is rattling and mine made a "humming" sound....maybe mine was worse? Either way the damn thing is loud and annoying right?
