Would responsibility lie in the hands of the poster of the owner of the website??

Don't know .... probably both ..... the poster for posting it, and the website owner if they didn't take reasonable steps to avoid the posting of it ......

hmm, ya, that would make the most sense.. I have mixed emotions about the situation, on one hand (for people who post outside the corner), pics and articles play a vital role in car talk, photo gallery, s2k talk, etc.. It will make for a blander site, and many will surely complain.. but on the other hand, we do have to abide by the rules and regulations, and abide by what has been set forth by the owner... It's really a toss-up... I do know that s2kca.com has articles being shown if people are interested...

As much as it pains me....having finished college...to return to siting sources.......if you site the source of an article like you would if you were researching for a paper, wouldn't that be okay? Unless you are claiming the work as your own, what would be the problem with that???

Complaining about having to obey the law is stupid.

alex, images published on the net are a little different then pics found in magazines. If you find images on the net, you are allowed to repost them as long as the copyright info hasn't been removed I believe. So keep on posting them pics!!!!

As much as I hate 'The Man', I must say that copyright law does have its place. If I went about all the blood, sweat, and tears to create something, the LAST thing I would want is some tool using it for free and taking advantage of my efforts.

Since I have not yet mastered the scanner I haven't been a bad girl. All my stuff comes from my camera and a CD. For once, I'm not in trouble!
