the parents are such assholes. they have spent the last 15 years of that poor womans life being greedy, cuz they felt bad they werent there for her when she had the eating disorder that caused her heart to stop beating in the first place. so to compensate for the guilt, they have tried to "fight for her to live" when there was no reason to in the first place. that poor woman has peobably felt so sorry for herself, being in that state and no longer having any use for herself.....

I think you're right QT but I'm not going to be quite as hard on the parents. I grant you they were selfish (and made this same point in previous posts), and I grant that they unleased the media and the zealots but I'd have to say they get a bit of grace. Why?... well it was their business to some extent.

If something happens to one of my sons I'll have my nose in it. They disagreed with their son in law and that's their right. It doesn't mean anything under the law and nor should it.

I'm more annoyed with the parasites like Jesse Jackson, Ralph Nader, W and all the zealots who paraded around outside with I've-got-more-god-than-you hardons. They were doing this for themselves at the cost of that family's dignity. That's a crime.

 

 

I completely agree John.....i just hope that people will learn from Terri's plight, and just let their loved ones go when the fight for the persons improvement comes to an end. Terri laid there for 15 years, and she never improved. thats way, way too long...and if it was up to the parents, she wouldve stayed there for another 15 years.
