I'd still take the S2000 over the Z8 if it was my money,

but if it wasn't, I could always get a Z8, sell it, and buy an S and leave the rest for mods

I know we sometimes put the S2000 on a pedastol, but the Z8 is in a whole different class, and a comparison shouldn't even be made.. Z8 is the far superior car, and it shows in the price tag..

Superior in having a 5 liter v-8 in a car the size of the S and having decades of German sport heritage backing it.

Probably why it costs around $120K

I saw a black one at the Vintage Grand Prix last weekend and it looked breath-taking. They did a phenominal job of mixing retro styling and modern sophistication into one bad-ass car!

Well, I know it's superior (just in price though just kidding ), but I think it's more of a classic-looking touring sports roadster than a sports car. i'm sure it has enough sport for most people with the nice M5 engine, but the S2000 is a much more hardcore real sports car. I'd take the S2000 even though the price difference is great, because I don't think the Z8 is for me no matter how much it costs.
