Default By the time I hit Vtec it was all over...

I had 2 street encounters this weekend

(don't want to post in that section b/c of too much testosterones)

1. I was going to work on Saturday morning and the road I usually take merges into one lane after a stop light. A Mercedes 230 was next to me. Young guy was driving it. I saw him looked at me and I thought to myself "don't even think about it". So I was ready and pulled out just even with him. The moment he tries speeds up to get ahead of me into the single lane I had to respond. It was pedal to the metal. The moment my car hits Vtec it was all over.

2. I was coming home Friday night doing 60mph (sometime I just want to chill on the freeway). A Corvette passed me at approx 65-70 and I thought I the 405hp side badge. I thought "what the hell" and decides to give chase. Down shifted to 4th and tried to catch up. He saw the HID speeding up and I heard ROOOAAARRRRR. By the time I hit Vtec (in 4th), it was all over. He's a good football field down the road. The normally robust sounding exhaust of the S2000 sounds so tame after hearing that Z06.

Sometimes it's fun just to try.
I was grinning ear to ear while "chasing" the Vette.
