How is the HK work transition looking, James? Are you excited about it (anti- issues notwithstanding)?

I'm looking forward to the move, though I am going to miss a lot of things about Japan. I'm really going to miss being able to go away at the weekends so easily, and also the open space and countryside here in Japan. There is open space to be found in Hong Kong, but it just isn't quite the same somehow.

Work wise this should be a very good move for me. I have had a couple of discussions with my immediate boss and he thinks that I am making the right move to gain progress through the company

Onward and upward, James.

Are you keeping your place up in the hills?

Nope, the place in the hills has gone already ....... I will have no links back to Japan once the car has been sold and the bank account closed ...... unless we decide to open an office here eventually, then I could well be in line to move back here to run the office ......

So many possibilities at the moment that I just try to take things month by month almost and see where things start leading me ......
