Thanks Mom, it sure can be emotional. Our son is double vaxxed, he was the last in our family to get it, we are happy he was able to get it just before starting the school year .

My two Subarus don't burn a drop in 10,000 km oil change intervals, I almost never check them anymore. Far cry from when I owned Hondas.

It sounds kind of crazy bit I swear my S has stopped using oil. I replaced the pcv valve so thought that could be the reason BUT I have had it since new and it has always, consistently, used the same amount of oil and obviously when it was new it had a new PCV valve in it. The only other thing I can think of is I haven't been vteccing it as much as I used to.
I have only added oil to the WRX maybe once in 33k miles the 2.0 liter seems to not use any. I have heard that other Subaru motors do use up some oil.

My S2000 used oil all the time, even after I put a new motor in it, being an Ap1. Many Ap2 owners report not burning oil, so that motor seems to consume less oil. Vtec is often where the most consumption occurs.
