Homes are inexpensive there, that home in that size over here would be over a $1.2 million or more, easily, and you still wouldn't find one that nice, and certainly no palm trees lol. Now the property taxes there are a good buck eh ? , 3x ours. Do you live in a state with no sales tax ? I find states with no sales tax have higher property taxes.

Good luck with your sale and impending move.

We had two open houses, it wasn't overly busy for us but it only took one buyer to make it happen so we sold in about 7 days time which was much faster than expected and our real estate sector is a bit depressed in the last 6 months as interest rates have killed off many potential buyers. Nice to hear activity for you appears to be high, all the best Mom !
Today I'm saying, Thanks for yours and Christine's kind words
Hmmmmm we do have sales tax here in California and honestly homes vary in the many areas OF Cali as in a home in the BA where @UnkieTrunkie lives is a lot more $$ so yeah it kinda depends on the City / Area

I've enjoyed decorating this one as its one of my passions Interior Design so kinda just what I like to do
We survived that 1st Open House and well she ( our agent ) wasn't going to let agents show the home pre Open House but she had a few requests & we said let um come!

Does get a lil crazy when many request in one day you feel like a yo yo

Happy to report I think we may have done well letting it get showings and I will update soon

PS LOVE hearing in me head your canukstian Eh

as for the Slushie Machine well C-6 got me that at Christmas and we actually haven't fired it up yet
I love getting a Slurpee or Icee in the warm / hot weather here so he thought it would be fun to have.
The Soft Serve Machine next to it is also fun, kids love making that & adding way 2 many sprinkles etc....

Frozen Riesling!!!! Freezling!

White Wine Slushie Recipe

White Wine Slushie Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cherries
  • 2 cups of ripe strawberries
  • A bottle of white wine of your choice
  • A tray of ice cubes (optional)

White Wine Slushie Preparation

[list=1][*]About three hours before starting with the preparation, you should wash the fruits well, don’t forget to dry them with an absorbent towel.[*]Put them in the freezer in airtight bags. It is important that they are dry since this prevents that at the time of making the slushie; they are not stuck in an ice block and will be impossible for your
blender to process blender to process
them.[*]Put the wine bottle in the refrigerator, so that it is at a suitable temperature at the time of serving.[*]After the time has elapsed in which the fruits are already frozen, we will remove them from the freezer and put them all in the blender.[*]Continue by turning on the
blender on medium speed blender on medium speed
, so that the fruit gets chopped up, little by little.[*]With the blender on, we will add the white wine until it reaches the consistency of the slush you want; take into account that the more wine you add without increasing the amount of fruit, the more liquid the texture of the slush will be.[*]If you want to soften the flavor of the slushie a little, you can add a couple of ice cubes in the blender process so that its intensity and the effects that it could cause will decrease a little.
