TIL Cubans don't want American money, last time I went to Cuba I paid with American $ and they loved it. They have since converted their peso and no longer want US Funds. Beautiful country and people but lots of little quirks to be aware of .

 

T.I.L. that the replacement credit card that I have been waiting to get that is replacing my hacked credit card isn't coming and that half the charges that someone made are still on my c/c balance. Citicards sucks.

 

Well I just learned that too. I haven’t been there in about 20 years so I guess it makes sense things changed.

 

Yeah we were there 25 years ago, and we are planning to go back this year.
