LOL yup. We were working a job last week and another contractor was there doing his thing and he saw the sign on my boss's van that said Bob's Hardwood floors. He asked my boss if his last name was Hardwood
I said no he is Bob and I'm Hardwood and when we are not refinishing floors we work as private investigators and go out and solve crimes.

SO I actually had lost count

First off our insurance is thru Geiko they hire a company for the House type to attach to your Vehicle type.

They said they will assign someone and they will come access the damage, then submit the bid. They also said we could hire who ever we want not just the one they send. I DID contact a local one who sent a nice guy that took 's and measurements etc.... had a card and told C-6 he would email the bid either that evening or the next day. Well NUFIn ever showed up in email and I did try calling him a few times asking WTF?

K instead of waiting on him we decided to go with the one the insurance had sent who had also done the measurements & 's
Told our insurance rep to go forward. We finally hear back and he said they were going to start on Monday and it would take about a week.

NO call to confirm on Friday an arrival time as he said they would. NO show on Monday I call again & they DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE or even have an answering service
3rd try he says he's gonna call the one who's supposedly gonna be doing the work & have him call me. He calls from about a 3 hour away location and says he's gonna come to look at it to see what needs to be done WHAT??? they already KNOW what needs to be done also by the time he would arrive it would have been How the F is he gonna SEE
We called our insurance and told her to tell them they are NOT gonna do the job!

In the meantime I found and we had another local out. Seemed like a reputable one measured etc... said we may need a permit. SO then he texted me saying heres a guy he uses and to have him out to get the assessment on inspection for the safety part. THAT guy was gonna charge ME $600.00 just to come out thats not OUR job thats part of the contractors & should be included in the bid.
When I told him we were not willing to pay that 3rd party he said he's gonna pass & good luck with our project

So yeah a tad frustrating and my 3 's like you wanted to come & do the F ing work

Sorry but yeah had me using a few F bombs
