I'm okay with lox and I like herring but I'm with you on the whitefish salad. The fish dishes are mostly those that came to mind when I thought of stuff I'm not fond of.

Really I LOVE deli. I've heard that there's a couple of good ones in Berkeley but I have n't found one out here yet. I grew up near the Bathurst area in Toronto... TONS of delis.
