Personally, I think that all wheel manufacturer's, like most designers, play off of what was done before anyway..especially to achieve a desired affect....spending the extra $$$ is hardly worth it really.

I once had the *cough cough!* honor of witnessing a full-size Dodge Ram riding on what looked like 20" rims with teddy bears for spokes.....now that, I can safely say, was probably not a rip-off from some other company....but originality...in this case....isn't everything
