You can play any zone and any system (PAL/NTSC) on my DVD player ....

 

I'm going to get one of those to James. A friend of mine knows a site where you can order those.

The whole zone thing is a scam!

 

I titally agree .... it is especially annoying when you move from one zone to another....... If I HAD to have Japanese disks here, then moved back to the UK, I would have to get a second DVD player for UK disks !!!!

One HUGE ****ing scam !!!!!!!!!! (excuse my language, but this is one of the things that REALLY pisses me off !!!!!

 

They sell them in Hong Kong in most good electrical shops

What also pisses me off, if you speak to Sony, they say that they can't do anything about the coding of your machine ...... if you speak to the guy in the shop in HK, they get Sony to replace the chips in these machines for multizone ability !!!!!!
