I got home from the Fall Colors Tour last night at 11:30 PM. I met three of the corner chicks there. April (Chix Rule), SweetJ and YeloS2000ShowGrl. I wondered how you other ladies liked Rick's opening joke, about God and Mr. Honda. I was NOT amused.

I did have a total blast though the whole time and I'm so glad I went!

I would have thought the joke was funny--a little bit--if it was told between some guys bashing women if the women were telling male bashing jokes too. But this was a dinner banquet with over three hundred people including wives of male drivers and women who came to drive their own S2000s and enjoy the comraderie. I'll tell you how it went after a while.

 

Sorry you took my comment the wrong way, it was not about you. What I meant was Rick was pompous for making a slur. He has disparaged female owners and young owners in my presence before. I was not at Fall Colors this year. I made a knee-jerk comment on what I was assuming was an inappropriate comment made in mixed company by the host of the event.

 

i was there at the banquet and it totally caught me off guard as well. i saw plenty of stunned faces on many of the people there. it had to do with soichiro honda talking to God and commenting on their flaws.


having said that.....
on a lighter note...i didn't really get to talk to you much (i saw you at dinner and at the track)..
