No need to say sorry, Mike. I thought that's what you meant, but I wanted you to expand on it, to be sure. I met Rick at the Vintage Spring Fling in April in Baltimore, and although I didn't talk to him much then either, I didn't think he was insensitive enough to tell a joke like this. I watched two Vintage ladies's faces as he was going on with it and as I was , and one laughed and one looked pissed like I felt. I just wondered if I was being too politically correct or if others were offended by this joke as well.


I am horrible at joke telling but it went something like this:

Thee Mr. Honda guy, who designed the fastest Honda motorcycles and S2000 car, dies and goes to heaven. In heaven, he tells St. Peter he wants to met GOD. It is arranged and he asks GOD if GOD was the designer of women. GOD says yes, he did design that model. So Mr. Honda tells GOD that the model has some major flaws and goes on to list them. (I heard the first few but I was getting rather pissed off so I didn't catch them all.) Some of the flaws were that they can have large rear ends that wobble, they can be top heavy or too small in the front end, they chatter sometimes and the intake is too close to the exhaust. So GOD says he will consider this. God comes back to Mr. Honda and tells him he checked into this matter and he was told that more men ride on his model than Mr. Honda's.

Funny in a small group of friends but not at a mixed company banquet--to me anyway.
