So, what ever happened to the bidding? Did I win? Is that now void since you seem to be GIVING her away now?

Why do we keep bailing out the airline industry in this country? What we NEED is a unified mass transit plan that better integrates the various forms of mass transit...airlines for long-haul travel, trains for regional...and buses and light rail for localized transit needs.
I couldn't agree more. We need to stop bailing out the airlines, and let the ones with capable management survive, while the corrupt ones cease. Ultimately, things will balance. As airlines die off, other airlines will grow to replace them. THose who are laid-off, will get picked up by a growing airline. The unions need to be removed from play, because they are nolonger part of the solution, but part of the problem. If a fair and capable management is in place, a union isn't necessary.

Trains are a great alternative, but keep getting suppressed by the government and lobbyists. Tourism would flourish if high-speed rail was more abundant. Imagine how much more tourism Las Vegas would receive if they built the high-speed rail from LA... did you know that currently, Las Vegas doesn't even HAVE a passenger rail terminal?

Integrated travel hubs are a fantastic idea if appropriate security measures are taken. If not, it could be a terrorists' playground. I know of some airports here in the east that have light-rail service at the airports, but it's not enough.

If Brant runs for president, I will vote for him.
