except for those love-hate relationships and lack of foresight that the majority of americans love. not an excuse, but a reason.

 

in any war, everyone makes mistakes. both "good guys" and "bad guys."

 

Being Jewish, and considering Israel as my ancestral homeland, I still think that both Arabs and Jews have made mistakes over the past 60 years.

In war, everyone is to blame. It really really sucks.

 

and I applaud you for saying that, since I think you are one of the first Jewish people I have heard admit that both sides have made mistakes

I also think that the situation there is one of the biggest problems facing the world at the moment and is a large part of what is driving a wedge between the "western" world and the "arab" world ....... I don't think any country can do too much in an effort to settle the situation there and try to bring peace to the region !
