Thanks Iuke. Server's back up now.

It was still accepting local shell connections. Just not through SSH. Apache wasn't doing its thing either. And the kernel was oopsing whenever I did anything that involves a disk write. I guess the kernel went cuckoo.

 

 

I'm sure it is. Though I haven't seen it myself. I've been to this state park three or four times in the past, and it's always been for fall colors. Here are my fall colors pics from last year:
