Unplug every day....
Not that difficult for me. When I get home I usually turn my ringer off on my work phone and personal phone and throw them in backpack and don't look at them until I am getting ready to leave the house the next morning. Of course this has bitten me in the ass a couple of times but why not 

I have an old school FitBit that doesn't display the numbers, only 5 dots (each is 20% of my daily goal), so if I'm 2,000 or 35 steps from my goal I don't want to unnecessarily overexert myself, so I sync it with my phone.
NOT outta my book LG butt I felt it belonged in here as much as the ( I love this commercial tread
