Been trying to decide if I should tell anyone this... so here goes:

First a little bit of history, my Dad has a subdural hematoma back in June which almost killed him. He has been battling with blood pressure as high as 240/190. His Kidney failed due to a blockage and he had a renial angioplasty.

So, this morning, I find out that last night my Dad was in the ER with slurred speach, weakness and tingling all over. Turns out that both his left and his right Internal Corodit Arteries have substantial blockage. They fear not only that some of the plaque will dislodge and go to his brain but they also worry about the brain damage that is occuring now due to lack of blood flow.

So, he going in for surgery, but they didn't have a date for me yet.

It's just really crappy news to get on christmas eve.
