The brass section is wonderful. I heard it this AM on the way in to work with Fleetwood Mac in Tusk.

ucla hatred runs deep and strong in the SC band. Not just friendly rivalry. I mean fights in the parking lot, fights on the field, pranks worthy of felony convictions.

Hell, in about 1988 one of the Trojan drummers blew up the ucla band director's tower with dynamite and got arrested for it. One of my buddies who shall remain nameless cut the wiring in the tunnel into pauley pavillion after one basketball game and tied it to the bumper of our bus.

I played linebacker in the Blood Bowl games before the candy ass bruins called them off and left me tell you, there was not much "flag" in the flag football. Chop blocks and late hits were the nature of the game.

As for the actual band performance. I doubt many will tell you their band is better. I know we got an ovation in their stadium after one particularly good show, that has never happened for their band in the Coliseum. In fact this past weekend I was not more than 15 rows in front of their trombone section during the halftime show and it was so quiet I could hold normal conversation. When the SC band lines up in front of you you damn well know it.

F__K the bRuins. Oh yeah we did. Again.
