Default VoIP at Home

I just wanted to share a solution I use at home instead of the traditional phone company to my fellow S2000 users. It may be a good solution for some of you. I run Voice Over IP on all my phones and get more features than any phone company has. If you make a lot of long distance calls and don't want to pay a very low fixed rate then check out my review of Vonage.

I know what voice over IP is. You can even do it wireless if you have the right equipment, but I use my cell phone. No reason to have anything else.

My complaint with the cell phone is that you can lose a signal, etc. Of course my cell plan has where the off-peak time starts at 9:00pm which sucks.

True...but I have a very good plan for minutes and since going to Nextel, I have never had a problem with service dropping unlike AT&T. Damn almost a month and not a single lost signal....I didn't realize it till now.
