At the previous engineering firm I worked for, one of my friends there wore similar shaped glasses and thus looked a lot like the milo drawing on that album. What made it funny is that my other friend, who sat directly across from him wore the Milo Goes to College shirt to work sometimes

Probably even fewer have heard these guys, and the production is pretty bad. But basically this was a side project in 1989 by a couple of members of Corrosion of Conformity. My friend back in the early 90's just happened upon a cassette of them. I bought another copy, then lost the cassette ... I still have the case though The only copies of the full album I found since have been for sale on vinyl. Very rough, garage band sound, but I like that part

No problem throwing in a video of skating here and there ... it kinda fits

I will even add one poor quality compilation of one of my favorite skaters to this day, both for the way he innovates and just because he is so frickin different as a person (gotta watch some of his interviews). It just gets better all the way through the video .. and this was from 2006. he is still skating and still coming up with new stuff. So many young skaters have no idea that many, if not most, of the tricks they are doing are based upon or invented by his stuff. I am normally not the biggest fan of remixes of Skynyrd songs that I like, but this one actually is not totally intolerable

You've reminded me of another favorite from that time:

Although definitely mainstream, I remember this as the first song I heard from these guys and it was in a snowboarding vid.

MAN I'm feeling all nostalgic. A guy I dated in late high school had a half pipe in his barn and two of our friends opened up their own skate shop. Pretty good times.
