Is it crashing on you, Luke? What're the symptoms?

It says it's unable to create a print job. Aslo...anytime you try to view the shares on a PC via the run command with a UNC path the window comes up empty, but a NET VIEW in a command prompt works. Then it basically hangs. Very weird. The last change was SP4 for W2K. So I uninstalled it...the problem is still there. I FINALLY got a technician working with me.

Hangs!

Sigh...

Hope it doesn't get you down, Luke. I wonder if the SP4 upgrade had anything to do with it. Maybe they've instituted some new security stuff...

Best wishes.

Well..the technician thinks it was the SP4 upgrade. Apparently youraren't supposed to let it be print to for about two hours after the install while it creates indexes. Hell...they didn't publish that info!

So now we are running a scan to see whats damaged and how much work it will take to correct it.

Jesus. I feel for you, Luke.

It's times like these when I understand why customers are loathe to upgrade.

As a developer, sometimes it's hard to remember how much customers can be put out.

Thanks Charlie. Eh...I don't really mind. I just wish I still wanted to do this for work...lol...might make the pain a little more tolerable. It sucks when the whole time I'm thinking...I want to be driving with lights and sirens blaring.
