An Aegis missile destroyer in port in LA for Navy Fleet Week. Anne Marie's niece's husband is a recently retired Command Master Chief whose last ship assignment was the Wayne E. Meyer, named after Admiral Meyer, "father of the aegis missile system." Coincidentally, Anne Marie's niece and her husband are coming up from San Diego tomorrow to spend the night, do a BBQ in our backyard and watch the USC Alabama game with us.
