now i'm actually being semi serious about this...I mean the regional s2k guys all get together for crap, but I hang out online with you guys more than the bay area forum amsterdam would require everyone to travel internationally, and there would be plenty of legal smoking, drinking and women!

I'm thinking like 6-12 months down the road.

Hmmmm.......I'll be honest here. It comes down to money for me. As long as I can put a value on it, I can start saving ahead of time. I'd be serious about going.

What would a trip like that cost?

plane tickets - $1000?
lodging - ?
play money - How good of a time do you want?

that's not counting sharing rooms/entertainment, and i'm sure there are better hotel deals than what i find on expedia

How far out did you go to get the prices for the airfair? I just got a quote off United Ailines for next July (randomly picked) and it was $1700 dollars!!!!!
