You can still make LOTS of money in this tanked market if you know what you're doing...

It's all about understanding market trends...and understanding what your short and long term goals are. Takes lots of research, common sense and willpower.

I'm not a big advocate for schooling, I'm a high school drop out.

well i didnt have any sales experience, but i am doing pretty well....well not this month but overall

you gotta be a people person, the customers have to like you or they will not even look at your product...and im still trying to figure out the other qualifications

I used to sell used/new cars. It's not that difficult and it all depends on what type of sales person you want to be. Honest or dishonest. I'm sure you met dishonest sales people before, the ones that said that it was the last year they were making the S2000 back in 2001...

The only real qualifications other than what was said above is that you need to be able to memorize everything about your product, it's easy with new cars, a lot more difficult with used because of the vast variety on the lot. Having a passion for cars helps as well.

Ask yourself, what type of sales person would I want to deal with. If you can be that person, then go into sales.
