What to feed this dirty monster!
So one of my coworkers just totally flipped on me about the whole live mouse thing...she said, "You just have never done research on mice before...after killing hundreds of innocent mice in the mind of science thinking that you are making some sort of benefit to humanity, you realize its not worth it. Its cruel and wrong."
My reply,
"But cats hunt small rodents in the wild, and Joe just does not have that luxury. Since it is perfectly fine for your outdoor cat to kill wild rats, birds, and small rabbits, why isn't it alright for my dirty indoor cat to do the same with a little of my help? Why is it that cheetahs in captivity function better when they are allowed to hunt and kill live prey rather than eating fresh killed flesh? Are their trainers considered cruel for releasing live prey into the cheetah range? My point is not to be cruel hear, yet I am not going to tell you that watching my cat hunt and kill his prey will in the least bit bother me..."
This just pissed her off more, and she told me that she did not want to talk about it any more. Am I that far off here? I thought of the idea of the whole trout first, as Joe loves fish...and I used to watch old cat cartoons (Heathcliff, sylvester, many others...) where the fish carcus alone was considered a tastey treat

Hey...it doesn't bother me any. There is a food chain for a reason. However, a lot of people have problems with this stuff.
I was actually surprised to see support from ANY females in here.
DO IT!!!!!

Actually, a 50+ yr/old lady that I work with told me that the mouse "would be good for Joe", but warned me of the mess he could make with it...These crazy ladies I work with, I never know what to think!
Ya know, I am still disappointed that there aren't any more than 9 votes as of now. This is a serious matter, and this is supposed to be the very pinnacle of the whoring community!
