what to wear to court?
Going to court on a speeding ticket.. Never really been to court before. Friends/colleagues at work suggeted going to court in a suit in order to look presentable. I thought maybe going in some shorts and a Honda Service tech shirt would be more appropriate. If I get hit with a big fine, license suspension, etc... this could really mess up my holiday season.
Any suggestions? Court is at 9am tomorrow morning... I'll check this post in the morning to see the results/suggestions... (and please, don't tell me to go in my birthday suit ...someone already suggested that at work)

dress nice.
I honestly don't think it matters, and any judge worth his salt will see through the obvious suit thing..... But dressing nice at least shows it's worth your while not to be a slob..... so then you are just a speeder, not a speeder slob....

I wore a suit .... it shows respect for the court ..... that's one of the things judges look for I think .... mut not a flash Armani suit or anything like that .... and no rolex watches (not even fakes) something functional and smart ..... you want them to think that you respect them, that you are a responsible person, but not that you are rich and can afford to pay a huge fine ....
