I'm reading "Sprawlball" about the rise of the three point shot & analytics in the modern NBA.

As a basketball fan & a stats nerd.....I love it.

I've just started reading The Astronaut Wives Club by Lily Koppel. So far so good Apparently it's a tv series too? Didn't look too much into that.

I'm working through The Sixth Extinction. So far it is great, if a bit easier to grasp than I was hoping for.

This sounds interesting. I'm fascinated by anthro stuff in general, but this something I don't know much about. Maybe the low brow vocabulary will help me get through it.

I pulled Amy Poehler's Yes Please off my bookshelf about a month ago but haven't started to read it yet. Maybe soon?

I just started reading Tangerine. Reviews said it is The Girl on the Train meets The Talented Mr. Ripley. Only just started it so I cannot opine yet.

Nearly Normal: Surviving the Wilderness, My Family and Myself by Cea Sunrise Person. I'm only a few chapters in, but already wishing I'd read her first memoir. This book is more about her life once she was in the outside world. Still, pretty interesting so far!

Confirming I wish I'd read her first book before this one. Still pretty engaging. It was a little heavier than I anticipated, but worth the read because it's such a unique story. The perception of her life that she "didn't have it that bad" is a great example of how so many people normalize violence/abuse/neglect. At the same time I felt like my childhood "wasn't that bad" compared to hers!

Know My Name by Chanel Miller (who was previously known as "Emily Doe"/the woman sexually assaulted by a "great swimmer" at Stanford). I suspect this will be a book I recommend to many people.
