There are studies that show it interferes with biomedical devices and then again, there are studies showing it's no big deal. To be safe, no cells.

Cell phones can interfere with telemetry equipment. In these modern times though my cell is a business machine too. It's the way the hospital finds me most easily if they need to speak to me.
