Who reads stickys?
Interesting source. I'm aware that many sources include the pronunciation "flassid" as has become popular, but your source doesn't include the pronunciation "flaksid". I'd question a source that doesn't include both. At least it doesn't include "nukular" for the pronunciation of "nuclear" as M-W does.I'm afraid (as noted above) that dictionaries are (to?) quick to add new mispronunciations. You'll see that is particularly true of Webster dictionaries.
I maintain that the pronunciation is 'flaksid' however 'flassid' has become so widespread it may have become a tomato tomahto issue.
Still... can you find a pronunciation of 'accession'? This is the word I am constantly plagued with. Though it is an uncommon word outside my industry.
I am neither a believer, nor a debunker.... just passing on some links
