That's the plan I'm hoping for some real competition this time. There better be some S2k's from the Ohio region there, or I'm going to their forum (Central Ohio) and call them all lamedicks

 

Probably kicking back, maybe going to a Dodger game. The following two weeks is our August Big Bear Astronomy fest. We pack my monster computerized scope, the two dogs, and everything else into Mrs' Raptor's Acura MSX and I drive up separately in the S. Big Bear is a great mountain resort (7,800 feet). We go every August for a week (8 nights this time). Do Astronomy at night and tear up the mountain in the S during the day. We stay in the same cabin every time: a 3 level A frame with a loft , two wrap around decks, a great view of the lake, and an unbroken 360

 

This weekend, I'll be getting my car dyno'ed at Ultimate Lurker's new shop. They'll be about 10 S2Ks there.
