NP, why can't you install it without having the modifry stuff ready to go. Can't you do that later, and just use the HU buttons for the time being?

I just want to do it all at once. I would rather not tear everything apart twice since I am just an amateur.

John, I have *no* doubt that you could do this. I'm sure there are a dozen people in your s2k community that could help you.

I just installed a subwoofer this past weekend with (a lot of) help from one of our local guys. It was fun and not really brain-surgery.

I honestly have no doubt I *could* do it. I've designed and built a radio actuated lap timer from a microprocessor, an LCD and a radio shack radio doorbell.

I'm saying it's too much trouble. Still Mikey says it's not big (and you know how goofy he is ).
