Speaking of sideways action. When I was down in California on vacation after Christmas I was using my aunt's 1999 Miata to drive around in. I took a wrong turn and ended up in the driveway at the Ritz-Carlton. Whipped a HARD u-turn between a couple giant planters and fishtailed out of the place.

I LOVED the look on the face of the driver of the BMW that was behind me when I left the place...





I love getting the CORNER when I'm telling silly stories...

Or the time I backed my dad's Mercedes into a flag pole...

Actually, I was driving up a VERY icy driveway. Got almost all the way to the top when the traction just suddenly DISAPPEARED and I began to slide down the driveway backwards. All I could do was try and steer and pray a lot as the car went all the way to the bottom of the hill...across the road...and into the flag pole in front of the ski patrol office...

Almost knocked the pole over, too...
