I wanted to be an astronaut. The idea of seeing the whole world from a vantage point in space is still as compelling to meas it was when I was a kid. I would give my left nut for that experience.

Whenever my perpsective gets a bit warped, I think of that. Travel is the next best thing. I miss my freedom, but that's the trade off for raising a family.

I love travelling and seeing new places. I know that I am very lucky to have a job that takes me to different places, which means that I can spend more time somewhere and actually get to know it a little .

The idea of moving back to the UK into a job that is based solely there fills me with dread at the moment !! I guess I will have to come to terms with it sometime though
