James, I think you really should consider yourself lucky. You're also lucky to have a better half who tolerates it (at least to this point). Of course, I'm sure that the moped drivers would welcome your going home!

 

I know I should Charlie . We have had a great time living in Asia so far

It is just hard to think about going back to the hum drum of everyday life in England .......

I know this is personal, but are you guys thinking about having kids?? If so, that'll change your whole perspective. I can only say that, if you do go that way, you'll be glad you have all this traveling to look back on!

Either way, James, I think you're a lucky guy (FWIW)!

Yes we are thinking about kids, and I already feel that if we do have them, I would want to be back in the UK with them for a number of reasons .......

Health, ease of life, eduction etc.

I guess the good point is that we can look back on these years and the memories will be great

 

Oh yeah... kids change perspectives quickly. Perspectives change again when they go off to school.
