Miata update: I heard back from the owner of the car I'm interested in and am going to see it tomorrow afternoon, hopefully.

 

I'm trying to convince Ms. WT that we need a Pilot We'd have perfect feng shui then, one sporty Honda, one family Honda (my Accord Coupe) and one SUV Honda!

 

Ohh, Blant, I hope your Miata works out so you have a cool b-day !!

Martin, one can NEVER have too many Hondas.

 

In a perfect world I would own a Miata in time to leave town on Tuesday for a few days...

Why thank you. I talked to the owner earlier today and I'm going to test drive it tomorrow. He has one other person looking at it, but promised that he would not sell it before I had the opportunity to check it out.

Guess it pays that he and I have a friend in common. Ironically, the common friend is a former local S2000 owner that I met through this board!

Assuming the test drive goes well tomorrow and it seems mechanically/cosmetically sound I might be toodling around in a new toy this weekend...

My sister has just sold her MX5 (Miata) after having it for eight years from new ..... she sold it to my other sister ..... perfect conditions, not a scratch on it, 1.8s British Racing Green with tan leather interior ...... nice motor

 

The one I'm looking at is the old 1.6L motor. Peppy, if not powerful...

Couldn't find BRG/tan, so black/tan seemed the next best thing, I guess...
