All good. If I had a 355 I would want a gated shifter. I’ve never driven a paddle shifter Ferrari and realize it will perform better than a human can with a manual but that is a big part of the car to me. I found the one I had was very smooth to operate I didn’t even experience the notchy going into second gear when cold.

Those first F1 shifters are really really cantankerous. My friend with one gets it serviced regularly, but rarely drives it. . . but it also helps that the value keeps shooting through the roof.
