my buddy jamey knocked his daughters mom up after she had stopped taking birth control b/c of the antibiotics she was taking WITHOUT letting him know about it. Now he's in a really rough situation with custody battle and shit

 

i'm just glad my g/f takes the pill everynight religiously...and on the nights i'm at her place i see her take it

I think the confounding factor on the US demographics is that it includes urban blacks and hispanics, which bias part of the equation. Legal abortions keep the birthrate down. We are essentially a bi-modal population, where the average is skewed by the aging of the white poulation and the correlation to female education and access to careers.

 

Don't forget that birthrates also track inversely to poverty (poor -> more babies)... more so than race. I.E. poor white people have nearly as many kids as poor hispanics or blacks, but rich black people have fewer.

I'd really be curious about the rate of legal abortions since RvW.

 

She may not have actually stopped taking the pill. Some antibiotics are known to reduce the effectiveness of the BC pill. Double whammy if she's taking a low dose BC. Still, crappy situation it sounds like.

I hear ya, but unfortunately after the fact he found out that she knew the antibiotics would probably stop the effects of the BC but she let him have his fun anyways without him even knowing. Pretty crappy but luckily their little girl is beautiful and it helps him "cope"
