It's not that big of a change on the hwy.. I've driven an AP1 with 4.77's and it wasn't anywhere near VTEC at 70-80
if price wasn't a factor, would you get it?

in the first drop down box pick s2000 04+ then change the 4.10 to 4.77 then click Go at the bottom and the graph will update

i got the link from this thread https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...=434167&hl=gear

btw...
search on s2ki still sucks.. trying to do some research on 4.77 gears on ap2 (including pros/cons and what sort of rpms i'd be running at 80mph)
Why didn't you just ask?

BTW -- I know an AP2 owner with the 4.57 and he said if he were to do it again, he would go with 4.77.

I like the idea of the stronger 4.56 gears over any of the "OEM" style gears (4.44, 4.77)

That calc isn't right. It says stock the AP2 is only geared for 151.. the car tops out at 168ish.... so I wouldn't trust that. 4.77's aren't going to top out at 129 mph.

i'm thinking about it.... i don't plan on going s/c so i'd like to look into it. just funny that people say that it'll stay toe to toe with a ctsc for the first three gears.... hard to imagine..
