Default 2002 S2K's

FYI:

Scott Honda in West Chester has the following two 2002 S2K's:

1. "Girly" Blue with "Girly" Blue
2. Sebring Silver with Red

They also have a used 2001 "swirled-up like a mutha" black with red.

The new blue is not my cup of tea, however, the blue interior isn't all that bad. In fact, I bet the new blue interior would look fantastic with the Sebring Silver. Too bad it's not offered that way.

The new silver? It looks much better in person, but not as dynamic as the Silverstone Metallic. The new red interior? It looks MUCH better in person, but I prefer the red/black set-up that my 2001 has.

Hey Dennis-

Thanks for the info...would luv to see the Blue...I may take a run out to Scott on the weekend. My wf is thinking about a CRV to replace here aging Odyssey...so I might trick her into a ride.

Are they located on 202 or ??? Maybe an excuse for another get-together for an hour next Saturday....to kick the tires Twas nice to meet you and the g/f on Sunday.

I talked to a soon-to-be owner from Plymouth Mtg last night for an hour...PM'ed me but has never posted He is set on soon ordering a Blue MY03...says there is one now at a dealer in Pottstown

I've been looking for a few months now for a silver and red. Do you know if they are offering the cars at MSRP? After hearing that people are getting cars at MSRP or even lower I will not pay any more.

Thanks in advace for any help.

i was in scott yesterday - i do like their parts/service dept.'s, but the sales dept leaves a little to be desired, IMO. i ran into my salesman and he said, "oh you're ready to buy? great!" and i told him, "no, because you didn't call me when the car came in, i already purchased somewhere else." he came back with, "oh i was supposed to call you? i thought you'd call me!" riiiiiight. i'm supposed to call him when he gets the car in. got it. and another sales guy told me that the silver will soon have that 3k markup - "it's the industry standard now - you can't get these for MSRP. impossible." i offered to show him my contract, but he declined and moved on. on a side note, the parts dept mgr told me that if the dealership installed the AEM CAI, they'd be more inclined to help me in the event of a warranty issue. his price for the intake + bypass piece was ~$300... didn't know if it was good, so i told him i'd let him know.

as a very new owner, i still worry about the warrany issue... i know, 'put it back together before taking it in' but isn't that kind of a pain with a CAI?
