Default Any one know this S2k?

Hey there ladies and gentlemen - Currently I own a 2004 Evolution, but I desperately miss the S2k. Ive owned 2 S2000s in (one vortec SC) and Im looking for another haha. I wanted to see if anyone knows anything about this car: http://tinyurl.com/8a6ahdq

It looks like its CT supercharged, but I cant tell much else. Any one on here the previous owner or know anything about the car? Thoughts?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Buying a modded car from a dealer always raises a red flag for me. Someone took a huge hit when they traded that in...most of the time theres a reason for that.

That dealership seems weird. Everytime I look for a specific car, usually a unique version of something, TL Type S, AMG, etc. they always have prices way lower than normal. A few cars I've seen have mismatching parts where it should have certain wheels/bumpers/features and they have a stock piece.

Bridgewater Acura is a bit north of Del-Val, make sure you post your thread in NY Metro's forum too. They would probably recognize it before we do.

Good luck though...right approach to find previous owner.

Years ago I was looking at trading in my AP1 for an STI they had on the lot. They were trying to rape me on the deal. However, they really did want my car. Mainly because the sales manager had a supercharged S and wanted my ACT clutch and comptech flywheel. I don't think this is the sales manager's though because his was Spa.

See if someone will do a carfax. They aren't perfect and won't catch EVERYTHING but it's also a good start.

Thread revival but just saw this post. I bought a car from there years ago. Yellow bug eye wrx ... i owned the car for a month and only had it in my possesion for a day. It was a total lemon. Looked as if a turbo kit was attached then removed and nothing was put back together. The dog bone mount was holding the motor in place with a cotterpin and a bent piece of hanger. When i tried getting out of the deal since they couldnt fix a misfire.. and the same codes popping as well as a major gas leak and the engine problems.. they threatened me with police action unless i toom another car since the deal with the bank was made. Not wanting to give them a win i toom the cheapest car on the lot a matrix xrs... which was another pos... long story short after a few months of ownership i realized that the deal never changed i was paying the price of the wrx for a $12k car. They never even swapped info. I contacted the bank said i couldnt make payments and they could come today to repo it. They did and then sold it at auction for $8500... within a month i paid off the balance and realized all said and done i was hosed out of a few grand.... turns out i wasnt the first bait and switch and they are actually involved in a class action lawsuit for it. The bastards still call me to buy back the wrx not realizing they just auctioned it and gave me an xrs instead. That place is bad news and got the name bridgewater dracula for a reason.

I am pretty sure I met him a few months ago I stopped there to look at a Evo x MR but when I showed up there was no MR.... sales manager came out to try and talk me into a baseline evo I just laughed at him. I was in my Type R he told me he owned a couple nsx's seemed like a nice guy. But I wouldnt buy anything from them after wasting my time.
