been a while
It's been a while since my last post so here what I've been up to.
Well it has been nearly 3 months and I have finally gotten my car back from the body shop. I went to D & A in Bristol pa. They are a high end body shop that deal primarily with BMW and Mercedes (Factory authorized and trained). After my initial inspection I can find no evidence of the accident, all panel were attached tightly and all seams are perfect. The Paint is a perfect match and there was zero masking lines or drips ( they painted all the components off the car). I have a few gripes. first the s2000 emblem on the side was not on the car when I picked it up. I actually like the look better and I'm thinking of removing the one on the left. my other issue was that the Alignment is a little off. I spoke with my contact at the body shop and he said to bring it in with the stock wheels and they would make it right. I'm actually going to get the alignment done while sitting in the car. I am not sure if it will actually make much of a difference but they said I can be there while they do the job.
Alignment to be as follows:
front camber: -1.3 -1.3
front caster: 4.4 4.5
front toe OUT (thanks Mike for the tip): .04 .05
rear camber: -2.4 -2.4
rear toe: .23 .22
All in all they did a great job fitting and finishing the car. The reason things took so long was because of a mix up between Honda parts and the body shop.
In case your you want to go there just be ready to wait of a few months before you get your car. They are currently quoting a three month turnaround.
New R compound on the way and I toying with the Idea of a Spugen header and test pipe.
I'll be attending the Panzo race school this summer and have already booked some time with my instructor at Pocono /sp?.
Hope to be ready for Longwood gardens and the inevitable Squirrel Nutz Runs. Where are my fellow nutz at?

Let's see some before and after pics ....Schmoe.... Glad to hear you FINALLY got the car back. You really haven't missed anything though. The snow has ruined any plans of get togethers. Not like last year....

yeah I know I haven't missed much. Sorry but us non owners can't post pics (ha-ha, Jerry). With a little luck and a hat like Gary's maybe we can get out soon and take a ride. Can't wait to hear that Spugen muzak. Give me a ring and maybe we can meet up for some beers and wings.
