BL S2K for CO
First I'd like to introduce myself and provide you with some of my background. My name is Joe and I am from the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton area of PA. I am currently 24 and will be celebrating my 25th bday in OCMD in June like I do every year. The BL in my name stands for Barely Legal, and I have been the VP of that club for the past 3 years. We are a club made up of customs and travel to all kinds of shows together. I'm a full time prison guard and a part time fireman, and maybe this fall I might go for my pilots license. I work 3p-11p Sunday thru Thursdays at the jail so you can usually find me on here in the mornings and early afternoons.
My goals if I am elected as a CO would first be to try and fill the very large shoes that Mike and Jerry have left behind. Thank you for all you two have done for this community, it is greatly appreciated. For anyone this will be a tough task but I will do my very best. I would like to try and possibly implement an official voting process and routine for the community that can be done yearly or biyearly, whichever the community prefers. With this idea it would give everyone a chance to become a CO if they would like but it would be an election process again. My idea is to have nominations in November and elections in December. You would be able to nominate someone new to take the seat of a person thats not fulfilling thier duties or nominate that the current group remains for another term. If I am elected I would sit down with the other COs and find a way to make this work and set up a system that can be used for a long time to come. I think this would be best because it doesnt allow you to slack off because you will be replaced quickly then.
Next I would do my best at trying to get EVERYONE more active in the community. I know and understand that some have families and everyone has work and other stuff to do. So I would like to try and get more drives and meeting going to try and open up the chances for some people that dont make it out much to come out and meet myself and others in the community. I met most of you at the New Hope drive and hopefully we can make that yearly along with some other drives. Possibly even a drive a month since thats what seems to get everyone out.
I would also like to help unclutter this forum. I am a perfectionist to the point of OCD so to me this forum is a mess and needs a good overhaul to get it organized to make it easier for everyone to navigate and find exactly what they are looking for more effeciently and in a timely manner. Again the COs are a team and this would really be I think a major project and would definately take all 3 COs working together.
Finally, I would like to say that I will have an open door policy so if anyone needs anything or help setting up a meet or has suggestions, thats what I am here for. I will take all suggestions and critics to heart and do my very best for this community. Thank you for your time and good luck to everyone running.

Were actually pretty organized. Everything was alot worse, and then I combined alot of the threads and pinned them. All the information is very open and easy to access. If anything, we might need a hard at work thread, or an off-topic sub forum. We tend to have alot of bs threads, but that's good because it keeps us posting.
Good luck, you have what it takes to be a good CO.
