Default Bumper Advice

So I decided to take the lady out to Ruffinos last night, but *tear* some individuals just can't be nice in return. grrr...

After dinner, I came out to the parking lot to see a big fat dent on my front bumper. grrr.

btw, it's all Freq's fault for introducing me to the place. ;-) At least dinner was yummy.

---------------
Got the whole insurance claim going now. I was wondering about suggestions for the front bumper. Do I replace with an AP2 front? Body kit? Just go back to stock? Fix it myself? Let the body shop do it? Not looking to burn much money. I'll probably get around 300-400 after the deductible is considered.

i guess a hitch maybe?

i actually really like the AP1 bumper with a lip. but thats just my personal taste. they look good with any OEM style bumper.

OEM bumpers can be had on this site from $100-200 already silverstone. Just keep looking and replace it.

that sucks!

depends on what you like better, or if you're planning anything in the long run with the car. if you like the ap2 front better, do that. personally I like the look of the ap1 front bumper better.

looks like they may just write to replace the bumper based on the pic. with that in mind they would have to add labor to take it off/put on, prime/paint it.

keeping your deductible in mind, I would probably just keep a look out for a silverstone bumper, pay for it with the check the ins. company cuts you, and save most if not all of your deduct. just my 2 cents.

Yea, I was thinking that if I could snag an already silverstone ap1 bumper from the site, that'd be ideal. I guess I could just drive around for a while until I find an AP1 bumper.

Anyone in the delval got any bumpers for sale?

Btw, does anyone know how involved it is to replace the front bumper cover by myself?
