Hey guys,

I'm gonna be down at Cecil County Dragway May 9th for their test and tune. It's 35 bucks, all you can race, gates open at 8AM. (Put PM before, but whoops, it's 8AM!!!) Ed's gonna be taking his '66 buick skylark down, and I usually drive the s2k down and get a few runs off.

I know, I know, the s2k is not a drag car... but I'll probably get a few runs off to see what kinda time I can pull. Last time I went down I ran a 13.9. And I beat Ed's '96 impala ss. good times!

i was there last night, 29th. it was the first time i went to the drag strip with the s2000. the best i ran was a 14.5. im definitly down for goin back though it was pretty fun.

 

been wanting to go here for a year now. i wanted to take my hatch down there instead of the crappy local track, i heard cecil is WAY faster since its below sea level.

OH SNAP... someone got tree'd!

I hope to have my Buick back together in time for next Saturday. I snapped the drivers side rockershaft, but need to get the new ones in. Then finish the fuel system. Then oil change. Then do my pre-race check up. Then say all my prayers that it stays dry.
