Labor is around 800$ for a clutch install on the s2000 at the dealer.

I would go with the HTG clutch package...

ACT PP, OEM disc & tob, light weight flywheel.

I drove this setup once and it was very good.

Before you change the clutch though Heather, have you looked into the slave cylinder, is the clutch fluid dirty, is their air in the line? I would check all this out before you drop the money.

It's definitely the clutch. You could smell it clear as day. How many miles are on the car Heather?

Well if its 100% it doesn't pay to just change the disc, especially if everything is apart. The HTG setup is great

$800? Damn that's a lot. I would definately save the cash and go to the place I went to. The owner of the shop came and picked me up since I didn't have a ride to go pick the car up when they were done. They did a great job with my car.

Either way, for the HTG setup!

Yeah im pretty sure Acura and Honda charge around 800$ all said and done. I think its 80$ per hour x 6 or 8 hours + their other stupid rip off fees.

I was going to skip the light weight flywheel but then I just bit the bullet.

heather, if you're on a budget, I'd say skip the LW flywheel and try to have your stock FW resurfaced. I'd still spring for the ACT PP. Personally I think it's the PP that should have come stock but that's just me. The clutch feel isn't THAT heavy and I feel it's ok for daily driving. If you do a ton of stop and go driving, then it does kinda suck but it could be a lot worse.

I had my OEm flywheel resurfaced for $30, no big deal...I found a ACT pressure plate online for $369, way cheaper than htg;

ACT pressure plate
