^^^^ Hey John, rubbin' is racin'! That damage is easily fixed, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. At least you dinged it up while fighting for position instead of some stupid driver error. Kudos on the podium finish.

John, Congrats ! I expected nothing less after riding along with you. The fender we can "pull" out, tell me you didn't scuff the wheel.... I will stop over this weekend work to race or work to live? O ya... isn't starting in the back fun as hell!!!! I drove all the ****ing way to Road Atlanta to leave my transponder in my truck charging instead of on the car during qualifying.... I started dead last out of about 50 cars..... I finished 4th I think....they were all slow cars..but damn fun passing them....

I also started in the back at Mid-O on Saturday due to my starter motor not working and missing the grid.... i ended up finishing 6th out of about 35 that day.

You should qualify pretty well at Mid-O... sounds like all the boys will be there.

 

Tim is back from Hawaii-----now it's time to work on the car. If you and freq could come over this Saturday and help that would be great. There isn't too much to do but I will need some help with the fender and maybe freq can polish it up so my white paint will blend. Oh yeah I scuffed the wheel a little but I don't think it will be noticable. I should have posted a pic from the side. The tire and lip of the wheel are green from Todd's vinyl you can see a bit from the 2nd pic.


Scot---It was very fun coming through the pack. I knew it was costing me time to the H1 guys but picking the spot to pass each one was fun. For MidO I am counting about 7 or 8 H1's and we will see how many I can get in front of. It is a 40 minute race too so plenty of time for the FWD cars to overcook the tires or even break some engine parts since they are so high strung--all good for me.

Reedz---thanks I will need some help up there at WGI. I might be coming from CMP (If I can pay the gas bill) and could have a little scratch here or there.
