If I was the one that got arrested for not leaving a tip, I would make sure the local PD and the pub owners contribute to a nice stimulus package...the police in this country have taken a wrong direction in what they are supposed to do.

I'll have to side with the people who didn't leave a tip for poor to non-existent service.

 

I have worked off and on for years as a server for extra cash and I 100% agree with the people who did not leave the tip. All places I have worked have the footnote on the menu about auto grat for big parties and every place in my experience it is a process of the server actually pressing the "auto grat" button on the screen to add it to the bill. I usually never use it because I can tell whether my own service was worth it or not. There are times its like rolling the dice and hoping I get the 18% auto grat or knowing the table will give me more than the autograt.

The server knew they blew it and sucked so they tried to screw the table. total bogus
